Prof. Jin Zhou
|
Jin Zhou received the B.E. degree in electronics science and technology from Wuhan University, Wuhan, China, in 2008, the M.S. degree in microelectronics from Fudan University, Shanghai, China, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Columbia University, New York, NY, USA, in 2017. From 2011 to 2012, he was an RF integrated circuits design engineer with MediaTek Singapore. Since 2017, he has been with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Zhou received the National Science Foundation CAREER award in 2021. |

Hyungjoo Seo
|
Hyungjoo Seo received his B.S. degree in EE from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2016, graduating top of his class in three years. He received his M.S. degree in ECE from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 2018. In Fall 2018, he joined WiMAC as a PhD-track student. Hyungjoo is a recipient of the prestigious Kwanjeong Educational Foundation Fellowship for his doctoral study. He received a International Microwave Symposium (IMS) and Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits (RFIC) Symposium Ph.D. Student Sponsorship in 2019 and was a Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship finalist in 2021. |
Shuxin Ming
|
Shuxin Ming received his bachelor’s degree in information engineering from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2019. During his undergraduate, he interned at the National Mobile Communications Laboratory in China. In Fall 2019, he joined WiMAC as a PhD-track student. Shuxin was the recipient of an ADI Innovation Scholarship in 2018. |
Rakibul Islam

Rakibul Islam received the B.Sc. degree (Hons.) in electrical and electronic engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 2014, and received his M.S. degree in electrical engineering at Washington State University Vancouver, Vancouver, WA, in 2021. In August 2021, he joined the WiMAC group as a Ph.D. track student. |
Jinyao Yang

Jinyao Yang received his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2021. In August 2021, he joined the WiMAC group and has been working towards his Ph.D. degree. Jinyao is the recipient of the Henry O. Koehler Merit Scholarship, Dr. Ok Kyun Kim Fellowship, and a UIUC Promise of Excellence Fellowship. |
Haibo Yang

Haibo Yang received her Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Circuits Design from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 2022. During her undergraduate, she interned at the Wireless Technology and Integrated System Lab in UESTC and the Wireless Lab in National Institute of Scientific Research, Canada. In August 2022, she joined WiMAC to pursue the Ph.D. degree. |

Karthik Prasad

Karthik Prasad is currently an undergraduate student in Electrical Engineering, who will graduate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2023. In August 2022, he joined WiMAC to pursue a senior thesis. Karthik was the recipient of the 2021-2022 Joseph W. Lyding Endowed Scholarship. |
